Details of the process
Video conference request
Aviva receives from its customer the identification request and the associated data.
Connection to the recipient
Aviva sends an OTP key to the cell phone of the person to be identified (user).
Identification and recording
The user may start the identification session with that OTP key from a mobile phone, tablet o PC, consisting in a video conference that is recorded. While the video conference is taking place, the user is requested to show his or her identification document.
Once the identification session is complete, the identification is reviewed by the first specialised agent available. Recorded captures of the identity document are also analysed by a specialised software.
If the identification is successful, Aviva issues a certificate of the digital identity of the individual, linked to that cell phone.
